The guided ranger hike "Unterwegs mit dem Ranger - Vierwald-Wanderung zum Tag der Deutschen Einheit" takes place in Boizenburg OT Vier and leads along the Vierwald adventure trail through natural and border history. The village is located in the Schaalsee-Elbe biosphere reserve in south-western Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, close to the Elbe. The nearest train station is Boizenburg/Elbe, around 4 km away; the town can be reached by car via the Gallin highway exit.
