In no textbook or conventional classical music concert can you learn so much about the life and music of Europe's most famous composers in such a short space of time.
Felix Reuter is a genius at combining comedy and classical music and stands for excellent entertainment at the highest level. There will be music, chat and puzzles. For example, where does the Christmas carol "Tomorrow Santa Claus is coming" come from? Where did J. S. Bach get the melody of "Jesu bleibet meine Freude" - from "Sind die Lichter angezündet! Jingle Bells appears in Bach's compositions for the first time in a shortened form - or what does Beethoven's Ode to Joy have to do with a Christmas carol? - A lot!
The concert "Felix Reuter - Die verflixte Weihnachtsshow" will take place in the Vineta-Bürgerhaus in Barth. Barth is located on the Baltic Sea coast in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, near the Darß. Felix Reuter combines classical music with comedy and sheds an entertaining light on the background to well-known Christmas carols and compositions.
