Wohlenberger Sanddorn Hofladen - the "Lemon of the North" directly from the producer

The Wohlenberger Sanddorn Hofladen is located in the middle of Klützer Winkel, directly on the beach of Wohlenberger Wiek between Wismar and Boltenhagen. Since 1997, the family has been running a sea buckthorn farm here with around 2,000 bushes and processes the golden-yellow fruit into an impressive variety of products - all from their own cultivation and production.

Visitors can find a wide selection of homemade sea buckthorn products in the farm store and online store: Fruit spreads, jams, marmalades, mustards, sauces and jellies, vinegars, oils, salts and dips, juices, punch, syrups, liqueurs, spirits, wine, confectionery, tea and cosmetics. Anyone traveling along the Baltic coast of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern - whether on the way from Wismar to Boltenhagen or as an excursion from Rostock or the Hanseatic city of Stralsund - will find an authentic souvenir from the region here.

Buckthorn plantation tours in Wohlenberg in summer

In summer, the farm invites interested visitors on guided tours of the local sea buckthorn plantations directly on the Wohlenberger Wiek. During a tour, guests learn everything there is to know about growing and processing the "Lemon of the North" - a worthwhile stop for families and nature lovers on the Mecklenburg Baltic coast.
