The Stuthof surf spot is located on the eastern shore of the Breitling, a small bay at the mouth of the Warnow, and is just a 20-minute drive from Rostock. Stuthof itself is a quiet little village that still belongs to the city of Rostock, but is far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the city to offer a real water sports atmosphere. The standing area is large enough and offers good conditions for windsurfing when the wind blows from southwest to northwest.

Kitesurfers are also welcome at the spot, but should keep a safe distance from the surf school. If you want to take a break, there is a traditional inn next door. From May to September, a passenger boat also runs from the shore in Stuthof to the other side of the Warnow - with impressive views of Warnemünde.
