Peat was mined here for over 200 years - traces of this history can still be found throughout the moor today. Hiking trail and permanent exhibition at Grambow Estate
The Förderverein Grambower Moor e. V. has set up a signposted nature trail and circular hiking trail from Grambow, which is freely accessible. A permanent exhibition at the Grambow estate complements the visit: it provides information about the flora and fauna of the moor, the history of peat extraction and the ongoing renaturation of the area. From April to August, guided hikes and excursions can also be arranged for small groups - ideal for anyone who would like to experience the moor with an expert guide.
