"Joy of Life" Exhibition at the Alte Försterei Dance School in Wieck a. Darß

At the Alte Försterei Dance School in Wieck a. Darß, three female artists from the Martens family are presenting their collected works together for the first time. The exhibition brings together abstract and realistic paintings under the overarching theme of “Joy of Life”—an atmospheric display set amid the unique natural landscape of the Fischland-Darß-Zingst Peninsula in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania.

Colorful Paintings and Nature as the Greatest Inspiration

The rich colors of the Baltic Sea region are reflected in the works of the three artists. Vivid hues and colorful scenes create fantasy worlds that invite visitors to dream. A love of nature forms the common foundation of all the works on display and is expressively conveyed on canvas. Complementing the paintings are smaller handicrafts and creative projects that round out the exhibition.

Coffee, cake, and a creative table for children

In addition to the artwork, the Alte Försterei also invites visitors to relax and linger: coffee, tea, and cake are available for guests. For children, there is a dedicated arts-and-crafts table where they can try their hand at art—a wonderful destination for families exploring the Baltic Sea coast between Rostock and Stralsund.
