The Neubrandenburg climate forest in the Nettelkuhl district is a visible sign of active environmental protection in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. On April 10, 2010, around 2,000 sessile oaks were planted here on an area of 0.3 hectares together with the Neubrandenburg City Forestry Office.
