The two climate forests on Usedom are located in the immediate vicinity at the narrowest point of the island. In addition to the Koserow climate forest, another area for new reforestation has been developed here in Damerow under the direction of the Neu Pudagla forestry office. This new "Climate Forest Damerow" was opened with a donation of 50 forest shares from the Achterkerke Foundation to local families as part of a large planting campaign during the Usedom Wildlife Weeks on October 24, 2009. Climate forest Damerow - reforestation on the Baltic Sea on Usedom

The Damerow climate forest is located on Usedom, at the narrowest point of the island, not far from the well-known Koserow climate forest. Created by the Neu Pudagla forestry office, the two-hectare area was officially opened in October 2009 during the Usedom Game Weeks. How to get to the Damerow climate forest on Usedom

From Wolgast, the B111 in the direction of Swinemünde and Koserow leads directly to the destination. About 1.5 km after Zempin, turn right at Forsthaus Damerow, there is a parking lot behind the railroad tracks.
