Climate forest Bad Kleinen
Climate forest Bad Kleinen on the northern shore of Lake Schwerin
The Bad Kleinen climate forest is located on the northern shore of Lake Schwerin, around 800 meters from the town center. The 1.2 hectare reforestation area was financed via the so-called "Waldaktie MV". The first planting campaign took place here in spring 2013 - together with customers of Schwerin energy supplier WEMAG AG. The climate forest is therefore a concrete example of how citizens and companies can actively contribute to forest development in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.
