Käflingsberg tower: vantage point in the heart of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern
The Käflingsberg Tower rises up on the Käflingsberg, which is around 100 meters high, in the Müritz National Park, south-east of the village of Speck. If you want to explore Mecklenburg-Vorpommern away from the well-known coastal regions such as Rügen, Usedom or Fischland-Darß-Zingst, you will find an impressive inland viewpoint here - and therefore a real addition to any Baltic Sea vacation.

167 steps lead up to the viewing platform of the Käflingsberg Tower. Once you reach the top, you can enjoy a far-reaching panorama over extensive forests and numerous lakes in the national park as well as the source area of the Havel. On a clear day, the view extends as far as Waren (Müritz), Neustrelitz and Neubrandenburg - an impressive nature experience in the heart of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.
