Haffbad Ueckermünde
Haffbad Ueckermünde - traditional lido on the Baltic Sea
The Haffbad Ueckermünde is one of the oldest lidos on the German Baltic Sea coast. It has been inviting bathers to swim, splash around and relax since 1926. The 800-metre-long sandy beach with its fine-grained sand and extensive shallow water area makes the Haffbad a popular destination in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern - not only for locals, but also for holidaymakers exploring the region around the Szczecin Lagoon.
Family-friendly beach with playgrounds and special areasFamilies with children particularly appreciate the Haffbad Ueckermünde: The shallow water entrance makes swimming safe even for the little ones. Two playgrounds on the beach provide additional variety. There is also a designated nudist beach and a separate dog area to cater for different needs.
Ueckermünde as a starting point for the Baltic Sea regionUeckermünde is located in the far south-east of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, close to the border with Brandenburg and Poland. Other highlights of the Baltic Sea coast can be easily reached from here - such as the island of Usedom with its famous seaside resorts or the university town of Greifswald. The Haffbad itself is a destination in its own right, with a long tradition and a beach close to nature.
