Port of Pruchten
Pruchten harbour on the Barthe Strom - jetty for pleasure craft and water hikers
The Pruchten harbor is located on the west bank of the Barthe Strom, which can be accessed from the Barther Bodden. The landing stage is approved for small fishing and sports boats and offers guest berths in accordance with the applicable port and fee regulations. As the approach is not buoyed, only boats with knowledge of the area or a maximum draught of 1.4 meters should enter. The Barthe is a popular water hiking and fishing area in the Fischland-Darß-Zingst region.
Pruchten - located between Zingst and Barth on the Bodden coast
The village of Pruchten is located around three kilometers north of the Vineta town of Barth, directly on the Meinigenbrücke bridge - the transition to the Zingst peninsula. From here, both the Baltic Sea spa town of Zingst and Barth with its shopping facilities and cultural attractions are within easy reach. The location on the southern Bodden coast of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern makes Pruchten a peaceful starting point for excursions along the Baltic Sea coast.
