The lake has a north-south extension of around 1.2 kilometers and an east-west extension of around 700 meters. On average, the lake is 150 meters wide. The eponymous village of Tüzen is located on the eastern shore of Lake Tüzen. The castle hill is located there, where a castle stood in the Middle Ages. Tüzen belongs to the municipality of Kriesow.
