The Strameuß Riding and Driving Club is a registered non-profit organization.
Friends of riding - beginners and advanced riders - are very welcome. We offer supervised riding vacations for children and young people, including full board and accommodation. Anyone who enjoys riding or would like to get to know life on a farm is very welcome at the Strameuß Riding and Driving Club. Strameuß is a small village in northwest Mecklenburg, not far from Neukloster. Situated in beautiful countryside with meadows and fields, the village is predestined for riding excursions. It is only a stone's throw to Lake Großtessin, which is ideal for swimming in summer, so we like to ride to the lake in the evening. We are particularly happy to arrange an appointment with you to ride as a family, for a group or individually. The Strameuß Riding and Driving Club is flexible, whether you want to come in the morning, in the afternoon, at the weekend or during the vacations. Give us a call in advance and we will find an appointment. We offer riding vacations for children and young people. During this period, (almost) everything for the children revolves around the horse. Typical for riders and those who want to become one. We look after the horses together. Riding training takes place in the riding arena next to the stables, and inexperienced riders are guided by experienced supervisors. You will find that riding gets a little better every day. When was the last time you went on a night hike or sat around a campfire and grilled sausages? It's possible at this vacation camp! Accommodation is in the "hay hotel". But there is no more hay, instead you sleep on mattresses or couches, where 2-3 children sleep in a sleeping alcove. With your own sleeping bag you sleep like in a four-poster bed. Riding for families, groups and individuals in Strameuß
The club is flexible and offers riding lessons by individual arrangement - whether as a family, group or individual, during the week or at the weekend. Lunging lessons and individual lessons allow even inexperienced riders to get started safely. Particularly popular are the carriage rides with the Shetland pony carriage for up to four people as well as horse-drawn carriage rides for family or company outings. There are numerous riding trails in the surrounding area for trail riders.
Riding vacations for children and young people aged 6 and overA special highlight of the Strameuß Riding and Driving Club are the supervised riding vacations for children and young people aged 6 and over. From Sunday to Friday, (almost) everything revolves around horses: caring for the animals together, riding training at the club's own riding arena and evening rides to nearby Lake Grosstessin. Overnight stays are in a cozy "hay hotel" with sleeping niches for two to three children, full board and experienced supervisors included. Campfires and night hikes round off the vacation program.
Horses, farm animals and guest horse boxes in Northwest MecklenburgThe farm is home to over 17 horses between 90 cm and 1.60 m tall, as well as other animals such as sheep, cats and dogs. Guest horses can be accommodated in boxes, open stables or pastures by arrangement. Pets are also welcome by prior arrangement. Restaurants, bathing and shopping facilities are around seven kilometers away.
