Galenbeck soapbox
The Galenbeck Soap Box is the factory outlet of the Galenbeck Soap Manufactory.
It is always open on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 16:00 to 19:00. Here you can immerse yourself in "the little house of fragrances" and be enchanted by the scents of the soaps, oils and creams. The Galenbeck soap manufactory with its Galenbeck soap box is located in the beautiful Mecklenburg Lake District, near the Ivenacker Eichen. Not on Lake Galenbeck in Friedland, but on the Galenbeck village pond between Rosenow and Ritzerow. The soap kitchen has found its home in the old coach house from 1890, located in the former van der Lancken estate. Not only are the soaps traditionally made here using the cold/hot boiling process. The body creams and body oils from the "MeBa COSMETIC" cosmetics line are also produced here. All formulas are created by the Baumgarten-Metscher family themselves and are of course tested and certified by an independent laboratory. A clear distinction is made here between "traditionally boiled" and "made by hand". Hence the guarantee that raw soap and finished products are not used in soap production. The Galenbeck Soap Box is the factory outlet of the Galenbeck soap manufactory and is also affectionately known as "the little house of fragrances". Here you can discover not only the traditionally boiled soaps, but also the healing scents of aromatherapy. These include bath salts, shower bombs, smelling salts and soy wax candles. The scents of incense are just as healing. The selection ranges from traditional to botanical to incense resin. A visit is always worthwhile! Opening hours: Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Thursdays: 16:00 - 19:00 or after telephone consultation under: 0151/54741104
Galenbecker Seifenkiste in Ritzerow OT Galenbeck - handmade soaps from the Mecklenburg Lake District
The Galenbeck Soap Box is the factory outlet of the Galenbeck soap manufactory and is located in the small district of Galenbeck near Ritzerow, in the middle of the Mecklenburg Lake District. Housed in a historic coach house dating back to 1890, which once belonged to the van der Lancken family estate, a special soap kitchen has found its home here. Anyone exploring the Baltic Sea region of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern - whether from Rostock, Stralsund or Greifswald - will find Galenbeck a worthwhile detour inland.
Traditional sifted soaps and the MeBa Cosmetic line
At the Galenbeck soap manufactory, soaps are made using the traditional cold and hot simmering process - without any raw soap or finished products. All formulas for the "MeBa Cosmetic" cosmetics line, which also includes body creams and body oils, were developed by the Baumgarten-Metscher family themselves and tested and certified by an independent laboratory. This quality awareness is reflected in every product.
The little house of fragrances - soaps, aromatherapy and incenseIn the factory outlet, affectionately known as "the little house of fragrances", there is also a variety of aromatherapy products in addition to the hand-soaped soaps: Bath salts, shower bombs, smelling salts and soy wax candles are just as much a part of it as a wide range of incense - from traditional to botanical to incense resin. A visit is particularly worthwhile in combination with a trip to the nearby Ivenack oaks, one of the most famous natural monuments in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.
