The “Nature and Art” studio in Mechow is located on the border between Schleswig-Holstein and Northwest Mecklenburg. Ebba Sakel, a certified graphic designer and freelance artist, has been living and working in this charming region—not far from Mecklenburg’s Baltic Sea coast—for over 14 years. Her works include painting, graphic art, drawing, and sculpture.

Art Garden and Studio with an International Background

Ebba Sakel looks back on an impressive artistic career: exhibitions in Germany and abroad, travels through Europe, North Africa, North America, and Canada, as well as publications in some 25 brochures, catalogs, and books. As a former member of the Federal Association of Visual Artists in Berlin and the BBK Schleswig-Holstein, she is firmly established in the German art scene. A particular highlight is the expansive art garden, where sculptures and nature form a harmonious whole.

Experience art in the Baltic Sea region of Northwest Mecklenburg

Mechow is located in an area that serves as an ideal starting point for excursions along the western Baltic Sea coast of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. Cities such as Wismar, with its UNESCO-designated Old Town, and the Hanseatic city of Rostock are easily accessible from here. Those who appreciate cultural excursions along the Baltic Sea will find “Nature and Art” to be an authentic and personal alternative to large museum complexes.
