Atelier ARQUOIA in Ivenack - art in many facets

The ARQUOIA studio in Ivenack offers an exhibition and sculpture garden under one roof - or rather: outdoors and indoors at the same time. More than 100, partly changing art objects provide a broad insight into the artistic work of the studio. Ivenack is located in the heart of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern and is therefore a worthwhile stopover on the way to the Baltic Sea coast - for example to the beaches on the Mecklenburg Lake District or when passing through between Rostock, Greifswald and Stralsund.

Diverse art techniques: From aquatint to large-scale sculpture

The range of works on display is remarkably diverse: aquatint and watercolor, intaglio and oil pastel as well as hand drawings with pen and pencil are just as much a part of it as large sculptures made of stone, metal, wood and plaster. Smaller free ceramics and larger porcelain sculptures complete the picture. In the sculpture garden, the works blend into the Mecklenburg landscape and create an unusual combination of nature and art.

Interactive art in the ARQUOIA studio - art that reacts to the viewer

A special offer is aimed at tech-savvy visitors of all ages: Under the term "Interactive Art", digital works of art are shown in the ARQUOIA studio that generate themselves in real time and react to the viewer - on profound and philosophical topics. Admission is 3 euros, accompanied children are admitted free of charge.
