Online booking available; please register with the campground one day in advance. The sauna is beautifully situated right next to the Niendorf Wohlenberger Wiek primeval forest. You’ll enjoy a sweeping view deep into the forest. The sauna barrel is made of cedar wood and has a wonderful scent. Sweat it out in the sauna barrel while listening to the rustling of the trees and the chirping of birds. After your sauna session, relax under the covered area and listen to the babbling of the Baltic Sea spring. There is an open cold-water shower, a restroom, and hot showers with a changing area. Currently, there is only one parking spot for visitors on the street, 50 meters away. Please bring two large towels, a bathrobe, and something to drink. This unique outdoor sauna is located in Hohenkirchen (Niendorf), right in the heart of the tranquil Baltic Sea region of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. The sauna barrel, made of fragrant cedar wood, is located right next to the Niendorf Primeval Forest on the Wohlenberger Wiek—and it’s only about 300 meters to the Baltic Sea. A deep view into the forest, the rustling of the trees, and birdsong naturally accompany your sauna session.

After working up a sweat, a covered outdoor area awaits for cooling off and relaxing. An open cold-water shower, warm showers with changing facilities, and a restroom are available. If you listen closely, you can hear the trickling of a Baltic Sea spring there. Be sure to bring two large towels, a bathrobe, and plenty of drinks. A parking spot on the street is available about 50 meters away.

The sauna can be conveniently booked online. Please register with the associated campground at least one day in advance. Current prices and regulations can be found on the provider’s respective websites. Its location not far from Wismar makes a trip here a great addition to a visit to the UNESCO World Heritage city.
