Mecklenburg Wagyu
You will find our Mecklenburg Wagyu farm between the Bergring town of Teterow and the Barlach town of Güstrow.
First-class meat and sausage products with a unique marbling await you in our farm store. Supplement your purchase with many other regional products, such as spices, jams and mustard. Welcome to our farm store in Klein Wokern, near Teterow. Here you will find the specialties of our Wagyu cattle as well as other regional products. We, the Feldmann family, have been running the farm in Klein Wokern since 1992. Originally specializing in dairy cattle farming, we started breeding Wagyu, also known as the Koberind from Japan, in 2016. Our philosophy is close-to-nature husbandry, i.e. the calves stay with their mother for up to 8 months, spend the summer on pasture and winter in large straw barns. All feed, such as hay, maize silage and lucerne, is produced in-house. Our Wagyus receive maximum animal welfare, which is reflected in the unique taste and tenderness of the Wagyu meat. Try the finely marbled Wagyu meat from our farm and experience a culinary delight in a class of its own. You are welcome to visit our farm. Please make an appointment in advance. Several times a year we invite you to events on our farm where you can taste, marvel and enjoy. In a rustic ambience and with a view of the animals, we spoil you with various meat cuts. You will not only experience excellent meat enjoyment, but also receive valuable tips on barbecuing. We look forward to welcoming you to our restaurant!
Mecklenburg Wagyu in Groß Wokern - Japanese Kobe beef from Mecklenburg-Vorpommern
Between Teterow and Güstrow, in the rural heart of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, the Feldmann family runs one of the most remarkable Wagyu farms in northern Germany in Klein Wokern near Groß Wokern. Since 2016, the family business - which has been rooted in the region since 1992 - has been rearing this breed of cattle from Japan, also known as Kobe cattle, according to a natural philosophy: calves stay with their mothers for up to eight months, spend the summer on pasture and the winter in spacious straw stables.
