LuzinTheater in the Feldberg Lakeland - theater with heart and soul

Director and actor Alejandro Quintana and actress Sylvia Bretschneider opened their LuzinTheater in September 2017 in the middle of the idyllic Feldberg lake district in south-eastern Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. After many years of working at the municipal theater, the two realized their dream of their own house here - for a maximum of 60 spectators who can experience what happens on stage up close and in a family atmosphere.

Professional acting and passionate amateurs on one stage

The LuzinTheater's program ranges from Goethe to Dario Fo, from classical drama to fairy tales for young and old. The repertoire is complemented by the amateur theater group "Die Bühnenlichter" - passionate amateur actors from Feldberg and the surrounding area, who have been active since March 2017 and have already brought plays such as "Lysistrate" by Aristophanes to the stage. Guest performances by other artists round off the varied program.

Cinema at the LuzinTheater - every last Monday of the month

From May to October, the small theater is regularly transformed into a cinema: on the last Monday of every month, there are film screenings for the low admission price of €4. A special addition to the cultural program of the region, which is otherwise known above all for its lakes, forests and proximity to the Baltic Sea coast.

Admission and special features of the LuzinTheater

An unusual feature of the theater: admission is only paid when you leave the theater - a sign of trust in the audience and in the theater's own work. Anyone who wants to explore the cultural landscape of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern away from Rostock, Stralsund or Greifswald will find an authentic and personal theater experience at the LuzinTheater.

Feldberger Seenlandschaft

On secluded paths and trails I will take you to the most beautiful places in our magnificent landscape, where you will discover old post roads, mysterious ruins, hidden lakes, crumbling bridges, old oak avenues and enjoy wonderful views. most walks take about two hours and are also suitable for children (from about 5 years), the elderly and the inexperienced. On my short hikes, we explore old post roads, abandoned ruins, hidden lakes, flowering meadows with old fruit trees, impressive oak avenues, crumbling wooden bridges.... Breaks at beautiful places are planned, certainly with swimming opportunities in summer. Most of the tours are between 5 and 8 km long and are easy to manage for anyone who enjoys exercise. You can find more detailed information about the individual hikes on my website www.naturnahwandern.de and in the event calendar of the tourist information office. There and on various notices you will find the current dates (usually 2 to 3 hikes per week) and meeting points. You are also welcome to book hikes with me for small and larger groups and organize them according to your wishes.
