A time-out at the Kastanienhof is a journey into a world of peace and relaxation. The two-hundred-year-old guest house is situated in a secluded location surrounded by fields and forests in the middle of the one-hectare historic farm garden with its old trees, flower, herb and vegetable beds. In keeping with the tradition of the house, all rooms are furnished with period furniture. In the cozy guest rooms, the library, the lounges or one of the many secluded sitting areas in the garden, you can get away from the often hectic pace of everyday life. Historic farm garden: Those interested in gardening will learn a lot about the cultivation and use of old or unknown vegetable varieties, interesting facts about medicinal and culinary herbs and the history of the farm as part of a tour or an audio garden tour.
