sunny side up
A variety of paintings in oil and acrylic—both representational and abstract—displayed in a private garden.
Coffee and cake. Parking around the corner. Closed in case of rain. The highly varied paintings by amateur artist Cornelia Reichel are created in the moment and mark the beginning of a artistic journey and a play with colors. For ChrisTine Löwa, painting is both a profession and a calling. Her motifs, born of a passion for the nature of the North with its special light and unique landscapes, capture the light and the moment in a very personal way.
Sunny Side Up in Boltenhagen – Painting Between the Garden and the Baltic Sea
Tucked away in the heart of Boltenhagen, one of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania’s most popular Baltic Sea resorts, lies an unusual exhibition space: Under the name sunny side up, two female artists are exhibiting their paintings in a private garden. Figurative and abstract works in oil and acrylic come together here, inviting visitors to take a moment for quiet contemplation.
Two painters, two perspectives on color and nature
Amateur artist Cornelia Reichel paints spontaneously—her very diverse paintings are intended as the beginning of a painterly journey and as a play with colors. ChrisTine Löwa, on the other hand, is a professional painter: Her subjects stem from a passion for the nature of the North, the special light of the coastal landscape, and the unique scenery found along the Fischland-Darß-Zingst peninsula or off the coasts of Rügen and Usedom. Both approaches complement each other in an interesting way.
Visit with coffee and cake on the Baltic Sea beach
Visitors to the exhibition can relax afterward with coffee and cake. Parking is available just around the corner. Please note: The exhibition is closed in case of rain—a typical feature of this charmingly improvised exhibition space right on the Baltic Sea coast.
