St. Paul's Church Bobbin
The Bobbin church is the only preserved fieldstone church on Rügen, which is visible from afar on a hill.
The church has belonged to the Protestant parish of Altenkirchen & Wiek since 2006. The nave with choir and sacristy was completed around 1400. The tower was added 100 years later. The building has undergone various changes since then. The last renovation inside the church took place in 1954/55, and the roof, originally covered with slate, was renovated in 1971. In the 15th and 16th centuries, St. Pauli was one of several pilgrimage churches on Rügen. According to historical sources, Pope Boniface IX granted indulgences to visitors and benefactors of the "ecclesia parochialis S. Pauli in Bobbin" (belonging to the diocese of Roskilde). In 1472 a head of the "Brotherhood of St. Mary" is mentioned, after the Reformation the patronage presumably lay with the respective sovereign, since the 2nd half of the 17th century with the lordship of Spyker. From the second half of the 17th century, it was held by the lordship of Spyker. The oldest item in the church is the Fünte (baptismal font), probably dating from 1300. Services are held every 2nd and 4th Sunday of the month at 10 a.m. from Easter to Thanksgiving.

Church of pilgrimage and historical significance on Rügen
In the 15th and 16th centuries, St. Pauli was one of the most important pilgrimage churches on Rügen. Pope Boniface IX granted indulgences to visitors and benefactors of the church, which at the time belonged to the diocese of Roskilde. In 1472, a head of the "Brotherhood of St. Mary" is mentioned in historical sources. The oldest surviving piece inside is the Fünte, a baptismal font that probably dates back to 1300. From the second half of the 17th century, the patronage was held by the Spyker estate, another historical attraction in the region.
Worship services in the Bobbin fieldstone church
St. Pauli Church has been part of the Protestant parish of Altenkirchen & Wiek since 2006. From Easter to Thanksgiving, church services are held every second and fourth Sunday of the month at 10 am. It is also worth a visit outside of church service times - the view of the striking building in the middle of the Rügen landscape alone is remarkable.

International artists present paintings and art of various genres. Paintings of various styles and poetry will be exhibited in the manor house, while Chinese martial arts and sculpture await many visitors in the park and on the terrace. The Ukrainian artist Inna Goerlt, who will be explaining her painting techniques and creating a new work on site, is still known to many from previous years. As last year, Ute Barnick will be exhibiting paintings and collages. There will also be poetry by Hans-Jürgen Steinert, which will inspire reflection and philosophizing. Katja Gauger brings us closer to the modern side of art with collages and paintings. Handmade sculptures can be found in the park. A Tai Chi group will also be demonstrating Chinese martial arts here. The circle of artists is completed by Gabriele Lenkeit, who is presenting the newly created Egyptian Hall this year. Here you can marvel at Egyptian-inspired wall and ceiling paintings. As in previous years, new works of art will be created directly on site. Inspired by each other, the artists enjoy working together. The classicist manor house dating back to 1825 provides a worthy setting for this year's exhibition.
