Lenné Park Basedow – A Masterpiece of Garden Art in Basedow
Lenné Park Basedow is one of the most impressive landscape parks in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. Count Hahn once commissioned the renowned Royal Prussian Director of Gardens, Peter Joseph Lenné of Potsdam-Sanssouci, and the Berlin court architect Friedrich August Stüler to redesign the park and village. Together, they created what is known as an “ornamental estate” spanning approximately 200 hectares—artfully nestled within the natural beauty of Mecklenburg Switzerland.
