Entire themed worlds of different houses can be found in the attic of Frieda's little barn. Doll's prams, cradles and matching crockery can also be admired here. Free admission. In the attic of a charming store in Altenhof/Darze, Katja Schülke has created a very special gem: the doll's house museum in Frieda's little barn. What can be seen here is the result of a childhood dream come true - lovingly collected doll's houses from the GDR era, carefully refurbished and furnished with homemade miniatures down to the smallest detail.
Dollhouses from the GDR era - miniatures full of everyday history
Whole themed worlds of different houses await visitors in the attic of the small barn. The tiny furnishings reflect the everyday life of past decades and bring history to life in an unusually personal way. The exhibition is complemented by doll's prams, cradles and matching miniature tableware. Below the museum there is a store for old and beautiful things - both together make the visit a harmonious experience.
