Old weaving mill Ahrenshoop
Alte Weberei Ahrenshoop - culture and hand weaving tradition on the Fischland-Darß
The Alte Weberei Ahrenshoop is a special seminar and event venue in the Baltic seaside resort of Ahrenshoop on the Fischland-Darß-Zingst peninsula in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. The building has been ecologically redesigned and preserves the anthroposophical tradition of the former Ita Rost hand weaving mill, which gives the house its unmistakable character.
Seminars, concerts and courses in a historic setting
Seminars, courses, concerts and other events regularly take place in the spacious hall of the Alte Weberei. The building thus offers a cultural venue on the Baltic Sea coast that stands out from the typical tourist attractions in the region. Visitors exploring the Baltic Sea coast between Rostock and Stralsund will find a place to encounter regional arts and crafts history and lively contemporary culture.
