The limited space available makes Lütow a windsurfing-only spot. The spot works particularly well in winds from the south to northwest. The spot is located on the Gnitz peninsula, west of Lütow. It is somewhat hidden away on a quiet campsite. Here you can enjoy nature and experience a relaxed surfing vacation on the island of Usedom in conjunction with the local surf school. Kitesurfing is not recommended or prohibited due to the limited space available and especially when the school is in operation. Otherwise, you will find a decent flat water spot with a sufficiently large standing area on the backwaters. Surfers should definitely watch out for obstacles such as boats and large rocks in the water and near the shore. The spot is best recommended in south to north-westerly winds, with easterly winds there is too much wind cover due to the peninsula near the shore. Kitesurfing is not permitted here, especially during training sessions.
