We are lucky enough to teach in one of the largest standing and learning areas in Germany and have several spots to choose from depending on the wind direction. We are a qualified and licensed surfing and kitesurfing school and our team consists of trained kitesurfing instructors (VDWS, KSA and AWH) who are allowed to train and issue licenses. The Usedom surfing and kitesurfing school offers an extensive water sports program for beginners and advanced surfers on the sunny island of Usedom on the Baltic Sea. Located directly on the Karlshagen sports beach, guests from Mecklenburg-Vorpommern and all over Germany can learn kitesurfing, windsurfing, surfing and stand-up paddling here

Kitesurfing and windsurfing in one of the largest learning areas in Germany

Usedom and the neighboring Achterwasser are among the best kitesurfing areas along the German Baltic Sea coast. The school benefits from its unique geographical location: depending on the wind direction, there are several spots available, including the shallow and safe Achterwasser - ideal for taking your first steps on the board. The courses are led by certified instructors with VDWS, KSA and AWH licenses, who are also permitted to issue official licenses.

Watersports on Usedom from spring to fall

The water sports center is open seven days a week from April or May until the end of October. In addition to the classic surfing sports, Zumba®, Nordic walking, surf fitness and personal training are also offered - a varied activity program for the entire Baltic Sea vacation on Usedom.

How to get to the kitesurfing school at Karlshagen sports beach on Usedom

Usedom is easily accessible by car via the B110 federal highway and the A20 (Jarmen or Greifswald exit). By train, Züssow station is a good transfer point, from where trains continue to Karlshagen on Usedom via Wolgast. Karlshagen is also easy to reach by bike from Peenemünde.
